THE GREATEST SPORTING EVENTS OF MY LIFE

Here are 5 "chick flicks" I can actually suggest and attest to being tolerable to the the Male end of the species

5.The Princess Bride- OK, kinda sappy at moments but this flick hits all the right notes. A dash of battle here, a little daring do there, and a whole lot of swashbuckling and saving damzels in distress. Great movie to watch with your girl with a blanket on a cold night with some popcorn.
4.Casablanca- ENOUGH SAID
3. Ghost- Just a guy and his girl and not even death is enough to keep em apart. Great story.
2.Sweet Home Alabama- Ok this movie was so insanely sweet It hurt my teeth. It's so "by the numbers" it's nuts. But ya know what? It plucks every possible heartstring. It plays your emotions like a fiddle. And in the end, even though ya coulda predicted every characters every move from start to finish your absolutely happy as hell they are together. That alone makes it one of my favorites.
1.OK, here it is. IMHO the mother of all guy palatable romantic movies. "DIRTY DANCING" Yeah I know Patrick Swayze is already on this list but what can I say the dude knows what he is doin. I mean come on, what a story! The little innocent girl, the bad boy who really has a heart of gold who shows her a new world. The dad who is against it all but for all the right reasons. A few more loopy characters for luck, And to top it all off a huge dance showoff at the end where the formerly "little girl" get's to show off her newfound adulthood. Just too perfect. I mean no other flick can take a line like "NOBODY PUT'S BABY IN THE CORNER" and have it be remembered as a legendary moment in cinema
